Day Twenty Three of Challenge

Something you wish you had done in your life.

Well, this is a somewhat strange question, because last time I checked, I still have time to live my life. I mean, you never know what could happen in the next moments, so I suppose that is what they want in this prompt. If today was your last day, what do you wish you had done?

I wish I had traveled more independently. I wish I could have gone to the places in my bucket list (you can find it here: https://fadedfairytale.wordpress.com/my-bucket-list/)and been more adventurous and been more knowledgeable about the world around us. One of these days I want to hit all of those places and possibly more and experience new environments and new people.

If today was your last day, what do you wish you had done?

Day Eleven of Challenge

Someone you need to let go, or wish you didn’t know.

Someone who I need to let go, or wish I didn’t know…that’s a tough one. Although a lot of people have caused me hurt, there has to be a reason that a person comes into your life, maybe to teach you a lesson. So I don’t think I would say there is someone I wish I didn’t know. If I didn’t know them, would my life be changed for the better, or for the worse? Even the ones who treated me badly, could have shaped me into the person that I am, and maybe without them, I’d change. The only way you can tell if that was the right thing to do, is if you know that it is guaranteed to make you one hundred percent better. But how can we tell? So that leaves the first option in the statement: someone you need to let go. That would probably be a child care client that causes me an insane amount of stress. I adore her kids, and if there was some way I could still be with the kids, and keep my distance from her, I would consider it. Sounds mean. And I hate that it sounds so horrible. But I’ve spent eight years being stressed out by this client. And it has been a rough eight years.
